Washington County, Maryland is hosting a large July 4^th celebration for America’s 250^th in Boonsboro, MD. Their quilt square was submitted by Washington County and depicts the county’s official 250^th logo they are using to mark the occasion. The square is an embroidered t-shirt quilt square.

In addition to participating in this project, the county is installing commemorative markers, publishing a historical book, and creating a time capsule.
