The Washington County, MN courthouse is located just across the street from St Paul Luthern Church in the City of Stillwater. The quilting group that meets at the church designed and crafted this quilt square. When they heard about the project, they knew right away that this is what they wanted to highlight.

Their historic courthouse is the longest standing one in Minnesota. It’s now a county park and offers daily guided tours and educational programming.

The City of Stillwater passed a formal Resolution on April 7^th honoring the 250^th anniversary of America and recognizing the Washingtons Unite collaboration.
