An image meaningful to Washington County, OR is the almost 100 year old courthouse. With its towering columns and its age old beauty, it is reflective of the justice and strength our country was founded on.

In February 2026, the Washington County, Oregon Board of Commissioners issued a proclamation in honor of our nation’s Semiquincentennial. The proclamation included a formal endorsement of the Washington’s Unite collaboration and acknowledgement of George Washington’s contributions to our country.
